Founded in Southern California in 1997, Velvet by Graham & Spencer set out to create high quality tees inspired by the west coast's casual-cool style. Striking a chord with fashionable girls searching for high-end basics, the line became a global hit and has evolved into complete contemporary collections. Obsessed with fabrics, the perfect fit and creating long-lasting wardrobe classics, our designers create gorgeous dresses, must-have jackets, vibrant prints and closet style staples, season after season.
Velvet by Graham & Spencer has two retail locations in Southern California and can be found in stores nationwide and internationally.

But who is she ? The Axara muse is an independent and active woman who creates her own style depending on her desires. Naturally, she holds the secrets of the famous “French elegance” envied the world over: never overdone – never a total look – but on the contrary, a mixture of moods and inspirations, which she wears very naturally. Self-affirmed and resolutely modern, she does not, however, forget the eternal code of feminine beauty, whether in the grace of a belt around the waist, the curve of a skirt, or the beauty of a revealed shoulder. If the outfit is a little bit more relaxed, the lipstick is very red. However, if the outfit is sophisticated, the hair will be loose, nicely undone. Ultra-feminine, she handles glamour as if she had invented it. She is so at ease perched on her high heels that she gives the impression of dancing. She is the heroine of her own life story.

The origins of the brand

From its Parisian shop in Saint Germain des Prés, Axara has seduced the whole world. Its French savoir-faire is appreciated worldwide, from Montreal and Saint Petersburg to Tokyo and all of Asia, which is very attracted to the particular charm of this family business founded in 1990.
