The Beauty's in the Details

Often in style situations, its the little things that will carry you a long way. See how some of our favorite designers are perfecting the art strutting the small stuff.

Ruffles are rarely edgy, but the exposed zipper at the back of the Bailey 44 Royal Excess Dress creates a sort of raw appeal. Combined with swaying tiers of jersey fabric, the effect is a look sharp enough to cut diamonds.

Bailey 44 hits two for two with their Reign of Terror Top. The simple tank design gains dimension and detail with the addition of hidden silver-tone snap buttons lining the first and second layer.

As if the intricate and richly coloured floral pattern which spreads across this Sledge Daisy Top wasn't enough to draw admiring eyes, this piece also sports a unique crinkled texture to add a subtle sweep of shadow and light.

Bronze rivets boldly stud the back pockets of this Billy Jean, each rivet stamped with the True Religion logo and distressed for a distinctly rugged design in mind. The detail is a small one indeed, but still manages to cast a hard-knock glamor that's hard to shake.

You can always rely on Kische for their lush little details, and their Romantic Button Top is no exception. A lace panel perches with fair prominence at the neck, but the real romance is tucked along the sleeves in sets of dainty, cloth covered buttons.
