I recommend a medium wash bootcut easily matched with different colours. A bootcut is balanced enough to tie well into any top and shoe combo you can think of. Also, having one versatile jean will reduce closet clutter and they can be worn several times before needing to be washed (unless you take regular and muddy tumbles).
