Kensie Wants to Recruit You!

Kensie has been putting out a lot of great stuff this season, but the military outerwear stands out among the rest as easily some of the most attractive pieces for Fall.

The Fade Tween Blazer in Dark Storm Mix is perfect for the cooler days. It's light enough to take off and carry if it gets too warm, but it has enough merit to keep you cozy when the temperature starts dropping. If you need a little more bulk then opt for the Brushed Houndstooth Coat in Black. Paired with a rimmed hat and a pair of lace up leather boots and you'll look ready to whip Winter into submission!

Yoana Baraschi: Military Chic

One of our esteemed designers, Yoana Baraschi, has a flair for creating unique military pieces that create a powerful look while still maintaining softness.

Try on the Charm Cadet Knit Jacket in Black and you'll instantly look like you're ready to take on anything while looking great doing it. If the weather's a little too chilly for a jacket then the Charm Cadet Knit Coat in Black is a perfect substitute for a bulky parka. If the weather is still tolerable then the Cadet Sweater Coat in Black is the perfect transitional piece from Fall to Winter.

Military Cardigans

As the leaves start changing colors we start rotating the clothes in our closet, and a few things that are coming out right now are our military inspired cardigans. Soft, sweater knits with enough heft to beat back the cold and a serious dose of attitude, these cardigans are battling off Winter chills while making you look chic and sexy!

We're loving Kensie's new Fuzzy Cotton Cardigan in Black because of its zipper and button decals, and with a luscious material you'll want to stay wrapped up in it all season long. Another favorite of ours is the Cadet Sweater Coat in Black by Yoana Baraschi. It has all the attitude of a jacket, but it's made in a supple sweater material and comes complete with bow and button decals. This is definitely a romantic adaptation of the military style and perfect for the girl who wants to display her femininity. Finally, we want to showcase the Striped Military Cardigan in Heather and Black by Juicy Couture because it has it all-- the cute, fun side of military while still maintaining some edginess with its buttons.

Runway Revolution

We're all familiar with the heavy-set military trends that hit the runway once the winter months come, but it's a rare thing when the style takes on a summer look with any success.

Yet Bailey 44, a brand known and celebrated for their application of avant-garde themes to every fresh collection, has managed the look with the innovative grace that every Bailey 44 fan has come to expect.

Centered around a romantic take on the French Revolution, Bailey 44's newest spring/summer collection is saturated with military touches that feature complex cuts to add a modern twist. Ruffles are also a major detail, tucked in to add a feminine touch to the bellicose buttons and artfully exposed zippers.
