With summer heat on the rise the thought of a stuffy work blouse is widely unattractive. Luckily Medford Minx Cora has found the better option.

It would seem that romance is in the air with this week's staff pick going to an Embroidered Victorian Dress from Juicy Couture, selected by UrbanMinx Creative Manager Amara.

With this dress the beauty is in the details - minute floral appliques and sheer lace detailing create a delicate texture throughout, while the flouncing skirt and pintucked bodice are quintessential feminine style at its best.

Amara has a the look of a wayward Victorian girl in mind for this Juicy frock, and prefers to pair it with an adventurous ankle boot and oversized shrug.

Most girls remember with those classic little jelly sandals. And now that those girls have grown up their jellies have too!

The staff pick for this week goes to Customer Service Minx Lindsey, who has taken a shine to our new Ultragirl Jelly Flat. Apart from the cute and surprisingly comfortable style, the subtle tortoise shell print is elegant and easy to match with nearly anything.

This week's staff pick goes to the original Minx, UrbanMinx owner Melissa, who's had her eye on this Barret Top from Sky since it first arrived. The Barret is pure party girl with a swath of colorful beads looped round the neck and the top itself cut in a playful fuschia pink. Best of all: the fit is figured to cling in all the places for a fully flattering effect while leaving what may be problem areas more or less to the imagination.

Melissa loves the look as an essential summer style easily adapted for day to night fun.

Staff Pick: Poetry in Motion

It's another spring-inspired pick from Medford Minx Tammy who's fallen head over heels for this Perforated Mint Julip Sandal from Poetic Licence. The refreshingly minty shade and textured floral accents have Tammy thinking of spring green grass and Easter egg hunts.

These flats would go great with a classic white summer frock or dark blue denim crop jeans and colorful top. Just don't forget a decent pedi because people won't be able to take their eyes from your styling feet!

Staff Pick: Boyfriend Basic

Model Minx Robin has always leaned toward our comfy cute styles and her pick for this week is no exception. Brand new from celebrated basics brand LAMade, the Anya V-Neck Tee is made from a mix of ultra soft micro modal and easy breathing cotton. The tee features a relaxed boyfriend fit, but don't let that fool you. There's a draped cut-out detail at the back which keeps it feminine and sexy.

Staff Pick: Rock Idol

Rock & Republic denim has developed quite the fanbase among the minxes, but web fashion advisor Doug has taken a particular shine to their rugged Taylor Bootcut Jean. The medium blue of the Vulgar wash makes the jean easily matched with just about everything, and Doug loves that the jean looks rugged and not just worn out.

Sun Valley Minx Larkin enjoys items that can be worn all year long, which is why she loves the Hale Bob Velvet Burnout Halter- the velvet has a very rich, sensuous cold weather feel, but when the weather warms up, it it will be a great item for a night out dancing. Anyone who has lived in a cold climate will have at least once thought (though most will never admit it) about buying a Snuggie. Creative Manager Amara has fallen for the much less less extreme Long Sleeve Cocoon Cardigan from Michael Stars.

Crafted from a weighty cashmere blend, the Cocoon Cardigan is elegantly draped but not at all shapeless. Amara loves the Cocoon Cardigan for its snuggle (not Snuggie) factor and relaxed fit, and how the neutral heather shade is so easily matched with just about everything.

Staff Pick: Wax On

Staff pick for this week goes to Urban Minx staff manager James, who has taken a shine to this New Waxy Overshirt from bellicose brand G-Star.

Here at UrbanMinx headquarters in Oregon the the ski season is in full swing, and James loves the water-resistant protection the Waxy Overshirt provides as well as the lightweight warmth. The sharp-looking military cut is nothing to complain about, either.

Medford Minx Cassie shows some edge with a favorite from the aptly named Rock & Republic. The Kasandra Lowrise in Sizzle Service is an easy to match medium blue jean with mean metallic studs to match, spelling out the signature 'R' at each back pocket for a rocker touch. Cassie loves the comfortable cut and slightly elastic fit, which has her feeling like she's wearing a legging rather than restricting denim.

In anticipation for a frolicsome and sunny spring, Medford Minx Ashleigh has her eye on this sassy Sky Tump Maxi Dress. Because of the extra length and heavier knit fabric, she might be able to rock this style sooner than she would the average mini.

When the warm weather does come, Ashleigh would want to wear the Tump Dress with a casual jean jacket and a pair of gladiator sandals to balance out the bling at the neckline.

Our ever classically-minded Web Minx Amara has her eye on these prime duds from Red Engine Denim. When it comes to winter jeans, the Red Engine signature Cayenne really is a work of art.
