Get the Skinny on Skinny Jeans

Skinny Jeans have made a resurgence since their debut in the 1950's and now they are all the rage! Their slim fit, comfortable waist lines and versatility for both genders makes them a must have staple in anyone's closet.

Skinny Jeans come in a variety of styles in an of themselves, including colored, cropped and distressed. Colored skinny jeans are great for that youthful, edgy scenester look and can be paired with almost any T-shirt. Try this combo: Carmella Ankle Jean in Andes from Juicy Couture with Neon Nerds Tee in Black Wash by Junk Food.

If you're looking to slenderize and elongate your legs then cropped is your best best and we recommend either Cuffed Penelope Jean in Hilden by Juicy Couture or Socialite Kicker in Black by Joe's Jeans.

Distressed jeans are perfect for adding a little edge to your outfit without making you look too harsh. Regent Ripped Skinny in Collin by Hudson Jeans are the perfect representative for distressed skinny jeans and would look great paired with a more structured or refine top to balance the outfit out.

Trend Alert: Sizing Up

In the late nineties loose jeans were the unfortunate mode, but we've found the newest oversized trend is something worth keeping!

Larger than life tees and tops are flooding the fashion circuits en force, often paired with  dark skinnies and equally slender footwear for a contrasting but balanced look.

With this look comes an air of distinct attitude, enhanced by the frequent rocker themes incorporated into the trend.

All American Made Style

What better time to think about buying products made in the USA than right now!

Many brands today have designers who care about making things locally to support our economy and to provide jobs here.

As we're celebrating the 4th of July lets remember how important is to buy American made products.

There are lots of very on-trend, stylish brands that put out amazing quality clothes and I wanted to highlight just a few that we have here!

Starting out pretty literally, Junk Food's USA Mickey Tee is a cute and playful vintage inspired piece Made in the USA.

The Ella Moss Pandra Top in Black is a beautiful, classic black shirt with sweet lace detailing. The fabric is light and easy for hot summer days.

One of our most popular denim brands, True Religion, also makes their jeans in the USA, giving us one more reason to love them. Shop the True Religion Billy Edgestitch and more now!

LA Made makes some of the greatest stylized cotton pieces, very stylish and hip and comfortable and it is no secret that they are making their clothes in the USA as well.

Other brands that have amazing clothes Made in the USA-Velvet, Sky, Fifteen Twenty and many more!

Shop Urban Minx now and keep your eyes out for the "Made in the USA" mention. We always include it whenever we can!
