If you are like me, you have already been caught leaving work in a skirt in a down pour with the morning gave prelude of a perfect spring day. instead of being stuck in the winter wear for another month, here are a few ways to work them in during the unstable weather months.

Peace in your spring buys with your winter wear. A bright purse will add instant cheer to your outfit.

The only thing bad about the wide leg trend, is getting caught in the rain. If their is even a slight chance of rain chose the cropped trend to avoid drenched legs.

How to Wear Cropped Bottoms

Cropped bottoms are a growing style trend and have been all over the spring runways. The tapered trousers and a straight cargo are very in right now and feel fresh and new. Unfortunately, this trend can look unfaltering and dated if not done right.
Leggy women can pull off the tapered cut, but should insure that that the crop hits low on the calf and slightly above the ankle. This will keep the look like purposeful and not like you have grown out of your pants.
Those with shorter legs or who are pear shaped are best suited with a straight cut or wide leg style. This will elongated and slim the leg. A nude heal will also help in this department!
If you have heavy calves, you can still work this trend. Just insure the crop hits at the smallest part of your calf as this is where the visual focal point will be. The smallest part of the leg will tend to be right above your ankle.
Alternatively, if you have thin calves a close fit cut is better suited for you making your legs look proportionate and shapely. A wide cut will only make you leg look scrawny.

If you're wondering what to wear with this cropped style, a flowing top is very of the moment. Chose a peasant top, loose tee, or ruffles. A jacket or blazer can be worn over the top and will perfectly nip in the waist.
